Activities and Recreations at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, Bahía de Banderas

A full-service scuba program is offered at the Resort, including complimentary introductory scuba classes, PADI certification, introductory dives, shore dives, boat dives, kayak dives and night dives. Advanced classes and certifications are also offered. Complimentary activities include beach toys, beach volleyball equipment, boogie boards, fishing equipment, frisbees, Hobie Wave sailboats, one- and two-person kayaks, coral reef snorkel equipment, Sunfish sailboats and windsurfers for beginners, advanced and children. Guests can also participate in low-impact fitness activities, including yoga at "the Rock". Other outdoor activities include ruin hikes and historical tours, as well as walks along the beach.

Tennis Anyone?
A variety of fun and exciting tennis activities is available. The player match-up system is perfect for anyone looking for a singles or doubles match. For larger groups, entertaining clinics, tournaments, socials, camps, tennis carnivals or the famous Tennis Show can be arranged with advanced notice. The tennis program is managed by Peter Burwash International.

Four Seasons Yacht Charter
Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita operates a luxurious 55 ft. yacht for guests to charter privately on a daily basis. The Italian-built ship brings Four Seasons pampering and service to the Pacific Ocean coastline and enchanting islands near the property.

The spacious yacht features a living room and kitchen with dining table, a separate, shaded relaxation area on the upper deck and sunning areas on the bow, stern and rear upper deck. The ship also sports a Wave Runner for guests to ride when the yacht is anchored.

Up to 10 guests may charter the boat, for six hours during the day or for sunset. Each charter includes an elaborately catered assortment of snacks and drinks.

The yacht's interior is fully air-conditioned and offers all the comfort and amenities one would expect from Four Seasons. An on-board stereo system features satellite radio and a huge selection of music on an iPod system. DVDs are available for playing on the yacht's television, and there are table games for whiling away the time while cruising along the scenic Pacific coastline. Reservations may be made through the Resort's Concierge and are subject to availability.

Two on-site Golf Courses
The Pacifico Golf Course, a Jack Nicklaus-designed signature course, is set within vistas of white-sand beaches and the surrounding Sierra Madre Mountains. Spread over 200 acres, it takes full advantage of its location. Eight holes border either the Pacific Ocean or Banderas Bay. The green of one truly unique hole is located on a natural island in the ocean. The Punta Mita peninsula's tropical landscape of palm trees and flowering trees adds to the pleasure of playing this course, which is challenging for experienced golfers yet friendly for the beginner.

PLUS a second 18-hole golf course, Bahia Golf Course, is now open.
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course features stunning lakes and water features, some meandering through multiple holes. In contrast to the Pacifico's original course, Bahia offers more undulating fairways and greens, making putting technique an important part of the playing experience. While the Resort's beautiful natural landscape provides a stunning backdrop for the entire course, one of the most breathtaking holes has a downhill approach with a panoramic view of Bahía de Banderas. Another noteworthy hole is nestled on the beach just steps from Punta Mita's famed El Faro surf spot.
