| Recent Renovations & Beautiful New Pool! |
| The resort completed a multi-million dollar renovation in December 2007 adding new upgraded guest rooms, upgraded pool areas, gardens and a new two-story restaurant/bar with views of the ocean. The new pool features two waterfalls, two shallow "lip" areas to accommodate sunbathing in the pool, a new palapa covered swim-up pool bar and a palapa covered children's pool. Now all guests have access to the main pool, as well as the new "quiet zone" smaller pool, which offers a restful alternative to the activity of the main pool.
The last stage of the remodeling/updating of the resort is underway and includes a redesign of the main entrance, a new lobby area, a new spa on the second floor of the hotel and general garden improvements. The main entrance will be closed during this time, and a new entrance on the beach side will be used until November 1, 2008, when all remodeling projects are scheduled for completion. |
