Finca Rosa Blanca, located on a working organic coffee plantation, is an award-winning eco-inn for discerning guests. The Inn features 13 individually decorated rooms/suites with a host of amenities perfect for couples and families alike. Rooms are cooled by ceiling fans and guests who must satiate their TV fix have access to a television lounge/library . Finca Rosa Blanca has 30 acres of hard bean coffee which is certified organic by the BCS OKO Garantie, an international organic agriculture certification and is certified sustainable by Rain Forest Alliance and ICAFE, the Costa Rican National Organization for Coffee. Guests are encouraged to take a tour of the plantation where they will learn how organic coffee is grown, harvested, dried and processed. In addition to roasting and packing their own coffee, guests participate in a coffee tasting, learning how the professionals determine quality and taste. Guests also have access to a stable for guided horseback rides ($18 per hour). A gourmet restaurant and full-service spa (open 9:00 a.m.to 10:00 p.m. Mon.-Sat.) enhance the guest experience.
