A 10 minute walk takes you to Tamarindo Beach where the shore comes to life in this bustling surf town.

Cala Luna Gives Back and So Can Guests
Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas gives back to its local community by supporting the necessary head start for children of underprivileged backgrounds living throughout Guanacaste. This luxury boutique-hotel has recently become an affiliated lodging partner of 'Pack for a Purpose', a charity initiative which encourages travelers to utilize space in their luggage to provide supplies to the communities they visit. Donated items (new school Spanish learning aids, clothing, linens, health supplies, toys and so on) collected at Cala Luna will be distributed by a local non-profit charity organization. Their community center serves an after-school program for approximately 300 children and teenagers between the ages of 3 and 20 years old. Interested guests are encouraged to participate by packing a few of the aforementioned items in their luggage to share with the kids.
