Activities and Recreations at El Establo Mountain Hotel, Monteverde

Guests of El Establo have an extraordinary opportunity to not only enjoy the resort's many facilities, but with the close proximity to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, the days will be filled with activity and amazing sites. On property, two temperate water swimming pools, a tennis court, a basketball court and a number of other hotel options provide an enjoyable respite from the day's eco-adventures. Take advantage of the private forest with trails, lake and look-out points on the property. The Tree Top Canopy, a private canopy tour right on the hotel grounds, allows guests the convenience of flexible scheduling and no timing pressures.

The Tree Top Canopy Tour
The on-site Canopy features 16 cables ranging from 50 ft. to 1350 ft. in length with a tower 150 ft. high with a panoramic 360 view of the Pacific and part of the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The tour is approximately 2.5 hours. Optional adventures are offered as well such as a "Tarzan Swing", a rappel, a tight rope and two swinging bridges. The walking trails between the activities are relatively short. Free transportation is provided within the El Establo grounds - such a convenience!
