Barceló Bávaro Meeting Rooms and Convention Center
The Barceló Bávaro Convention Center is located in the lush, tropical surroundings of Playa Bávaro and within the Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort. One of the largest in the Caribbean, it opened in 2001 and has hosted many important national and international events, in both the official and private sectors.
Measuring over 11,500 m2 it has 13 meeting rooms of varying sizes that can be subdivided into a total of 24 rooms. The meeting rooms are accessed from two main wings, and events of up to 5,000 people can be held. A swimming pool, beautiful gardens and patios surround the center, and daylight reaches all indoor areas. There is also a gazebo where civil weddings can be held.
