Kids and Family at Riu Bambu, Punta Cana

The Riu Bambu is ideal for families with children of every age. The hotel features a supervised children's program run by professional staff and offers kids fun, games and water play in a safe environment. Children will enjoy their own pool, a play area, an arcade and game room, and educational discovery and fun at the beach. In the evening, everyone will be enchanted by nightly shows, and babysitting is available. There is something for everyone in the family at the Riu Bambu.

After recent renovations the Riu Bambu also offers a larger children's pool with slides that joins the two adult swimming pools. Children will be able to have fun at the kids' playground and participate in RiuLand activities. Riu's daytime daily entertainment program is tailored for children ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.

RiuLand is Riu Resorts brand-new professional children’s entertainment and activities program, with a modern twist, ideally suited to every age, and available at selected Riu Resorts. RiuLand activities are planned with different age groups in mind (Club 4 to 7 years old and Club 8 to 12 years old) and place a premium on physical group activities outdoors instead of more static pasttimes, such as handicrafts and table games. Another outstanding feature in RiuLand is that children are always the “stars”, which is why the children’s plays staged once a week in the hotel’s theatre are not performed for children, but by them instead. In addition to glittering shows in the evening, RiuLand offers RiuLand Parties, which feature dance games, shows and the Miss and Mr. RiuLand competitions, with a prize given to the winner of each of the competitions.
