The Sandos Caracol Eco Resort Select Club House includes a private conciergeand a small business center. The Oceanfront Select Club House includes a premium liquor bar with gourmet canapés, living room with TVs and a reading area with a selection of books. Designed to be ecologically sustainable, this section of the hotel boasts ultra-efficient air conditioning units that lower power consumption. Solar-powered water heating systems have been installed in each villa, in order to avoid using gas. Our villas also have in-room LED lighting systems, ands internal water recycling system to avoid excess energy consumption and waste. New Water Park!
Sandos Caracol Eco Resort is excited to announce a new addition to their water park! There are now 12 brand new slides for kids, teens and adults added on to the 17 that the water park already contains! And the best part? It's part of the resort's all-inclusive plan! The water park features 29 slides and is divided into three areas: the Aqua Park for young children with 17 mini slides, a children's area with 5 slides and an area for teenagers and adults with 7 slides.
Minimum height for the 5 new kid's slides: 1.10 meters / 3 feet 7 inches. Minimum height for the 7 teen/adult slides: 1.40 meters / 4 feet 7 inches.

Sandos Loves Kids
The resort features a Kids Club, open from 10 am-10 pm, with a fully-supervised activities program, which includes games, crafts and a mini disco. As a daily activity, all children that are enrolled in the complimentary Kids Club. An activities program is also available for adolescents, with assistance of the entertainment and sports team, offering music, billiards, table tennis, foosball, beach soccer and more. Toddlers under 4 are welcome at the Kids Club facilities when accompanied by a responsible adult.

Earth Tribute:
When: Monday
Based upon the principle that those who inhabited this land should use the earth, animals and trees in their everyday lives, guests can experience first-hand how the Mayan culture uses their natural surroundings to their advantage, while still taking great care of the world around them.

Wind Tribute
When: Tuesday
Guests are encouraged to witness a performance entitled “The Arrival,” which recognizes that hundreds of years ago, the winds brought foreign travelers to the Mayans’ lands and culture. This performances shows how the Mayans' lives were forever changed through activities designed to put guests in harmony with the ever-changing characteristics of the air.

The Arrival
When: Tuesday
A subset of The Wind Tribute, this is a performance reenactment of the Mayans first introduction to the white man and what that meant for their culture.

Corn Tribute
When: Wednesday
In the Yucatan Peninsula, locals incorporate their corn into their everyday life and diet as a primary form of substance. This ceremony is to demonstrate how important corn is to Mexican and Mayan culture.

Water Tribute
When: Thursday
In Riviera Maya, water is in abundance, from the Caribbean to thousands of cenotes, connected through a network of underground rivers. The ancient Mayans used to believe these cenotes were gateways to the afterlife and would use them to perform sacrifices. The Water Tribute day gives visitors a chance to learn about the role water plays in the ecosystem and introduces the importance it held in the Mayan culture, through a nighttime performance at the main cenote.

Ceremony by the Sacred Stone:
When: Thursday
A tragic love story between a brave foreign traveler and a Mayan princess comes to life, with the sacred Mayan cenote set as a stage.

Sun Tribute:
When: Friday
Paying tribute to the sun is important to Sandos guests because the warm rays shine down on visitors, marking this part of the Caribbean as a true paradise on earth. There are endless ways to pay tribute to the sun at Sandos Caracol, something this resort is proud to introduce to travelers.

Fire Tribute
When: Saturday
Whether cooking food, seeking warmth or creating light, fire is a blessing in the Mayan culture. On fire tribute day, there are a plethora of fire-related activities, including a Fire of Life performance, which guests are encouraged to witness.

Roots Tribute:
When: Sunday
Mayans are deeply embedded with their heritage; use this time to learn of the various traditions within the Mayan culture, including food and games, and truly immerse yourself in the surroundings of the Sandos Eco Resort!
