Explorer's Club for Kids

Hours: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. Explorer's Club for Kids features supervised activities open daily, for kids ages 3 to 12. All Explorers' Club staff is certified by the Red Cross in child CPR. Children will enjoy a theater for performing their own plays, arts and crafts, movie nights and sandcastle competitions. A parent or guardian must always be on property while kids are using the Explorer's Club. Children must be fully potty-trained for admittance into the Explorer’s Club.

Core Zone Teens Club

Hours: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Core Zone allows teenagers 13 to 17 a place to cut loose and really have the time of their lives. The resort's Entertainment Team is there to ensure safety and responsibility while the teens take part in all the activities that are offered. Not only is the Core Zone a great place for teens, but it also allows parents to have time of their own.

Sunscape Akumal Beach Resort & Spa offers complimentary greens fees at the Riviera Maya Golf Club, located 3 miles/5 km away, just an 8-minute drive from the resort.

The Riviera Maya Golf Club designed by Robert Trent Jones II, this course spans over 12,000 yards, offering a 36-hole course development including a 7,843-yard 18-hole championship course, a 1,356-yard 9-hole par 3 golf course, a driving range, practice green and more! Additional fees apply, transportation not included.
