This verification assures the commitment of Dreams Sapphire to reduce the impact of its activities on the planet and local communities. Dreams Sapphire implemented an integrated waste management program as a sign of their commitment to reducing, treating and safely disposing of hazardous/non-hazardous wastes. The first step in their program included an analysis of the existing conditions & the education of their personnel. The hotels worked closely with professionals trained in identifying, handling and sorting hazardous, chemical and solid wastes. Then, they held a series of training events for hotel personnel. In response to the training events, Dreams Sapphire has recovered and recycled more than 32 tons of materials that would otherwise have ended up in the municipal landfill. Also, the courses raised awareness to employees regarding hazardous nature of certain wastes and health conditions that could arise without proper in-handling.
