Activities and Recreations at The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, St. Thomas

The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas offers guests a stunning infinity pool as well as a second, traditional pool with outdoor Jacuzzi. Guests enjoy easy access to two white sand beaches, Great Bay and Coconut Cove. The on-site Aquatic Center offers all kinds of non-motorized water activities for resort guests, and a PADI certified Dive Center is also on property and offers a host of diving and snorkeling excursions as well as certification courses. Two lighted tennis courts are available, and an on-site teaching pro is available for those who want to improve their skills. The renowned Mahogany Run Golf Course is close by for golf enthusiasts of all skill levels.

Water Sports
Non-motorized equipment such as paddle boards, kayaks, Hobie Cats and windsurfers are available for guests' use. All equipment rentals are included in the resort fee. Sailing lessons are offered at the aquatic center for an additional fee.

Guests can enjoy half-day, full-day and sunset sails daily, as well as private cruises throughout the Caribbean waters. The captain and crew of 'The Lady Lynsey' are ready to attend to every guest's wish and need. Half and full-day snorkeling excursions, full-day excursions to the British Virgin Islands and Sunset Cruises are offered weekly for guests who want to swim, snorkel or simply enjoy a quiet sunset. Golf Nearby
Designed by George and Tom Fazio, the Mahogany Run golf resort in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, is the island's only 18-hole championship golf course. Located just 15 minutes from the resort, Mahogany Run is a public St. Thomas golf course that is open 7 days a week.

PADI Dive Center on-site
Guests can explore the colorful waters of the Caribbean Sea on guided scuba dives and snorkeling excursions that depart daily from the resort's full PADI Dive Center on property. Beginners, intermediate and advanced divers will find different dive boat trips that meet their particular level of experience. From a privileged location on the eastern tip of St. Thomas, guests can access a score of small islands and cays that host diverse underwater scenery and marine life just 10 to 20 minutes away aboard either of our two dive boats.

Scuba classes for beginners can be held daily with a lecture and scuba pool session prior to the open water dive. The resort's scuba certification program is unique in many ways. With a customized flexible schedule to fit other vacation plans, students will receive undivided attention in a relaxed atmosphere. From the basic two day course, to the more advanced courses, the mission is to form accomplished "common sense" divers responsible for themselves, their dive buddies, and the aquatic world.

Snorkel and scuba programs are also available for children. Children ages five and older are welcome on the snorkeling outings and ages eight and older on the scuba tours.
