The Museum tells the powerful story of Trace Wilson, who was born into slavery on the property in 1818 and her direct descendant Emilio Wilson. You will see depictions of what life was like on a plantation and learn about the customs, traditions, lifestyle, and stories that earned Sint Maarten the nickname ‘The Friendly Island.’ Embark on the Soualiga Sky Explorer for the approximately 25-minute ride to the top of Sentry Hill, one of St. Maarten’s highest elevations at 1,125 feet. The experience encompasses two chairlifts and a series of platforms encircle the mountaintop, showcasing 360-degree views of the island including vistas of neighboring islands Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts and Anguilla. When you are ready to descend, simply aboard the Soualiga Sky Explorer and enjoy the scenic trip down the mountain. After this fun-filled adventure, souvenirs and attraction photos are available for purchase in the gift shop or, if you prefer, Emilio's Restaurant, nestled among authentic antique colonial walls, offers a menu of classic favorites with a new twist.

Minutes later will be time to enjoy this destination’s landscapes from above on the fabulous Soualiga Sky Explorer! This 25-minutes cable car ride will take you to the top of Sentry Hill, one of St. Maarten’s highest elevations at 1,125 feet. The experience encompasses two chairlifts and a series of platforms encircle the mountaintop showcasing 360-degree views of the island, including vistas of neighboring islands Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts and Anguilla. To complete your top-to-bottom ride, the Soualiga Sky Explorer will take you to the Schooner Ride where you’ll surf down the mountain in an inner tube! After your orientation at the transfer station, you will put your safety equipment and harness system for your Sentry Hill Zip Line flight over the mountain ridge! Tropical Catamaran Beach and Snorkeling

 
Get ready for a day of fun in the sun on this snorkelling excursion in the stunning Caribbean waters of St. Maarten! Start your adventure with a serene cruise along the coast to Little Bay where you’ll gear up for your first snorkelling stop – first time snorkellers will have the help of knowledgeable guides to make sure they feel confident in the water. In between adventures, enjoy some snacks and drinks on board as you make your way to either Samana Long Beach or Mullet Bay for more snorkelling excitement or a leisurely swim with pool noodles and a floating bar stocked with refreshing drinks, cold beer and Mount Gay Happy Rhum Punch, a local specialty. After a tasty lunch on deck, head to Maho Beach where if you’re lucky, you’ll have the chance to see planes approach the runway at Princess Juliana International Airport from the water before one last swim at either Simpson Bay or Indigo Bay.
