Commission Chart

Commission on charter air earns between 3% - 10% based on the class of service booked.

For the land portion, commission is based on total passengers traveled in 2008, according to the chart below:

3 - Commission contract:

If an agency owner/manger is willing to commit to a particular sales volume and would like a different commission level than the ones currently offered, they can contact their Vacation Express Sales Manager or the Sales Department.

4 - Exceptions:

Some departure cities have lower markups for air-inclusive packages only and with that the commission on the booking is limited to 7% on the land portion of the air-inclusive booking. Note that Land Only bookings are not affected. As of Oct, 2009 the departure cities with lower markups are JFK, EWR, LGA and MIA. Note that more cities may be added in the future without prior notice. The booking engine will at all times reflect the correct commission amount and we encourage agents to add a service fee if so desired.

Please note: Commissions are subject to change throughout the year. Commission is payable on most invoiced items including most surcharges or amendment charges and on Vacation Express Penalty Protection Plan, if selected.
