Activities and Recreations at El Cozumeleno Beach Resort, Isla Cozumel

In addition to the great beach and impressive pool area, the El Cozumeleno offers a wide variety of resort activities including mini-golf, snorkeling lessons, scuba diving lessons, bicycle tours, kayaks, windsurfing, aerobics and volleyball. All El Cozumeleno guests receive special discounted rates on greens fees at the Cozumel Country Club's 18-hole championship PGA golf course across the street from the hotel.

Ocean Tours!
Ocean Tours Water Sports is located on the beach at El Cozumeleno and offers a wide variety of services for resort guests, such as scuba diving and deep sea fishing trips, jet skis, and parasailing, all at an additional cost. Divers can enjoy unlimited shore diving when they purchase a two day-two tank, dive package.

Games!
There is a lovely plaza next to the indoor pool with a colorful ceramic fountain, plus a giant black-and-white chess set with pieces the size of chidren.

An on-site 18-hole mini-golf course, ping pong and pool tables are also available for your enjoyment.

Golf Available
Cozumel Country Club is directly across the street from the resort and has an outstanding 18-hole championship golf course designed by Nicklaus Design Group and Club Corp Latin America.This amazing course is a masterpiece sculpted through the Mayan jungle and around the mangroves offering a challenging experience to the serious golfer. The four sets of tees allow golfers of all skill levels to experience an enjoyable round of golf with the peace and quiet of the natural surroundings.
Golf Shop
The club's golf shop houses the latest in golf merchandise and is furnished with beautiful native mahogany fixtures crafted by a local carpenter. Clubs and shoes are available to rent.
Practice Area
The practice area features a putting green as well as chipping green with a practice bunker. The wide, two-tiered practice tees allow plenty of room for practice or warm-up.
General Information
Golf instruction is available at the club from PGA golf professionals. All El Cozumeleno guests receive a 30% discount on greens fees and golf packages.
