Services and Facilities at Barcelo Maya Tropical, Riviera Maya

The beachfront Barceló Maya Tropical & Colonial, part of the expansive Barceló Maya Tropical & Colonial, features three large swimming pools each with a Jacuzzi and a swim-up bar and an array of dining options. Kids 4-12 will love the playground and 'Barcy Club' kid's club, along with a specially designed water park and Splash deck. Enjoy an 18-hole mini-golf course set amidst a tropical landscape, Professional soccer field, tennis paddle and multifunctional courts. For shoppers, there is a popular retail-shopping arcade. There is also a well equipped gym, a beauty salon and spa facility with massage rooms, sauna, steam rooms and a 10-person spa tub, kid's spa. To complement the extensive list of dining venues, guests of all ages will enjoy nightly entertainment and shows in a 750 seat open-air theater and the Jaguar club features great drinks and music late into the night for the adults.

Beach and Pool Fun
One pool is designated as 'quiet' and one is reserved for activities and fun and features a fountain. Each main pool includes a swim-up bar and jetted spa section. A shaded hammock area borders main pools.

The beach is sheltered by an off-shore coral reef. The water is calm and perfect for swimming and for water sports of all kinds. Sun loungers are provided and guests can easily swim to a private rock island accessible from the resort's private dock.

Other Services!
Water sports instruction and motorized water sports by independent operators on the beach, childcare services (outside of regular program hours), laundry, mail and fax services, and an on-site medical center. A tour desk can arrange tours to the most interesting sites in the region. (Extra charges apply.)

Regular Catholic Mass is held at the on-site chapel “Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.”

Group & Meeting Space
The hotel has a convention center which can be converted into 9 meeting rooms with capacities ranging from 45 to 1300 people, fully equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment and perfect for organizing all kinds of business and social events. Resort Shuttle
Shuttle Bus - Double decker bus to provide transportation around the resort complex. Service every 20 minutes from 8:00am to 2:00am.

Waiter Service by the Pool
Free Waiter Service at the pool area of the Barceló Maya Beach and Caribe Hotel is scheduled from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm.
