Guests arrive in a splt-level lobby with a soaring conical palapa roof supported by thick boughs. Open to three sides, it houses an elegant restaurant with magnificent vistas of the coast below. The lower level has deep sofas to one side and a sunken bar to the other. The bar opens to a bi-level wooden sundeck with a whirlpool and a split-level mosaic-tile infinity pool. A beach club features a large palapa bar-grill. Guanacaste's rich cultural influences are manifested in Hotel Punta Islita's architecture, pottery, furniture and garden sculptures. Transfer Information
Courtesy ground transportation from the Islita Airstrip is provided for guests arriving on regularly scheduled domestic flights (Sansa or Nature Air). Guests arriving on chartered or private flights will be charged $20pp (roundtrip) at check-out. Call our Customer Care desk to inquire about making domestic flight arrangements.
