ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA
The hotel offers an impressive list of activities, such as hanging-bridge and canopy tours; nocturnal forest tours; natural history walks, horseback tours and visits to Monteverde's coffee- , milk- and cheese-producing areas, as well as a number of attractions including a butterfly garden, a reptile and amphibian garden, a hummingbird garden and an orchid garden (boasting some species found nowhere else in the world).

Spacious Accommodations
There are 50 spacious rooms, each with orthopedic mattresses and private bathroom with tub and telephone. All the rooms have safe deposit boxes and most have accessible balconies. The Master Suites have two king sized beds and a mezzanine (second floor) with either a double bed or two single beds (on request). There's a living room with view of the Gulf of Nicoya (Pacific) and each room has a balcony and terrace.

Family Suites are equipped with a king sized bed and two single beds on the mezzanine (second floor). These suites are set apart from the other rooms and have private parking. Each family suite can lodge up to six people. For bigger families (up to twelve people), the two family-suites are conveniently connected by a balcony. The spacious Junior Suites have two king beds and a balcony with views of the Pacific Ocean. Standard Rooms have two double beds and most have a shared balcony. These rooms are located close to the restaurant and Jacuzzi.
