Kids and Family at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo, Guanacaste

Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica welcomes families with a wide variety of on-site activities and facilities - many of which are geared toward discovering the surrounding eco-environment. Children 18 years old and under can share their parents' room at no extra charge...up to 2 children in specific room categories. Two and three bedroom villas are perfect for a large family, accommodating up to 8 people!

In addition, a FAMILY PLAN is available which includes a 2nd room for the children at 50% off when the first room is booked at the regular rate. Children must be 18 years old or younger.

Complimentary Kids For All Seasons Program
Open daily from 8am-5pm for ages 4 to 12 years of age:
Children are immersed in the culture of Costa Rica and learn about their surrounding environment. Upon arrival, they are presented with a welcome amenity and an invitation to join Tiquito, the Papagayo mascot, at the Children's Center. The program offers a weekly schedule of events, featuring activities and arts and crafts using local materials.

Supervised explorations take children in search of local insects, reptiles and plants. Other planned activities include a hermit crab hunt, treasure collecting on the beach, sand castle building, birdwatching and soccer. After a long day, kids can relax by their own pool complete with their own child-size lounge chairs.

For indoor fun, a wide selection of movies, games and puzzles is available. The centre also provides a recreation room complete with a ping pong table, computers with high-speed Internet access and an entertainment system.

Bubble Maker Classes
Children swim or scuba in shallow, confined waters under close supervision. A distinctive recognition certificate and card, along with colorful Bubble Maker emblems, decals, towels and toys, make the experience one to remember. (Recommended for guests aged 8 to 10.)

Tuanis Teen Center
For ages 14 and older:
Tuanis - a Costa Rican expression meaning "too nice" or "too cool" - is a fully equipped entertainment facility created specifically for teenage guests. Located just steps from the basketball court, Tuanis houses two flat-screen TVs, a DVD player, a PlayStation, an Xbox, computers with complimentary Internet and iPod docking stations. Furnished with comfortable lounge areas, decorative surfboards and bright Costa Rican colors, it is the perfect place to relax, play pool and socialize with new friends.

The Center is also staffed with a teen-oriented Concierge, who provides information on weekly activities and tours. Outdoor adventure trips include zip-lining through lush treetops, volcano hikes and boogie board and surfing excursions. Weekly fitness classes, such as the hip-hop yoga class, Latin cardio dance class and a high-intensity water workout, are designed specifically for the teen program. Spa treatments and massage, manicure and pedicure packages are also offered, giving teens the full Four Seasons experience.
