Dive Packages Available
Certified divers, select the room category with the 5 day dive package included! Includes 2 dives per day for 5 days, professional PADI instructor, water and fruit on board, tanks, weights and belt. Available for an additional cost (payable locally): wet suit, regulator, BCD, night dive surcharge ($10 US including light). Divers must be certified. Children must be 10 years + to dive. Dives are per person and are not divisible between two or more people.

Not a certified diver yet? Choose the Learn to Dive package! Includes 2 day course, PADI International Certification (12 meters/40 feet), 3 classroom sessions including video, 3 pool lessons, multilingual PADI instructor, rental gear, instructions, 2 dives. Does not include PADI didactical material ($50 US) to be paid locally to Mayan Divers.

Scuba Diving and Snorkeling
Mayan Divers, a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Resort is on the premises of Mayan Princess Beach & Dive Resort. The dive center was founded by a German-Cuban couple--European standards and personal service define the dive shop philosophy which attracts many returning guests. Safety, fun and a high level of knowledge about local dive sites and the underwater world make your dive holiday an unforgettable experience. Photo and video services are offered, as well as the opportunity to rent a camera and try it yourself.

The Mayan Divers dive in small groups with a maximum of 6 people per divemaster and 10-15 divers per boat. Snorkelers who want to explore a different part of the reef will enjoy a snorkel trip on one of the boats offered daily.

Mayan Divers operates the on-site dive center. They also provide snorkel trips to spectacular locations on the reef. West Bay is famous for its shore snorkelling because of the shallow, healthy reefs a short swim away.

Dolphin Encounter
Your Dolphin Encounter begins as you travel to Bailey's Key, the private home to a large family of Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins. After a brief orientation you will wade waist deep into the clear waters of the Caribbean where a trained naturalist will give you a personal introduction to a resident dolphin.

The trainer will describe the dolphins' characteristics, anatomy and behaviours and will give you the opportunity to touch, kiss and play with a member of this friendly family of marine mammals. During the session you'll have excellent photo opportunities in addition to professional photographs that will be taken of you and your new friends.

Dolphin Snorkel or Swim
Experience a dolphin interaction activity like no other! On the unique Dolphin Snorkel you will spend quality time with a dozen or more curiously playful Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins in the warm, clear waters of Roatan.

On this unstructured dolphin activity, the naturally curious dolphins are free to interact with you as they choose. Your Dolphin Snorkel begins as you travel to Bailey's Key, the private home to a large family of Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins. After a brief orientation you will wade waist deep into the clear waters of the Caribbean where a trained naturalist will give you a personal introduction to a resident dolphin.

The trainer will describe the dolphins' characteristics, anatomy and behaviours and will give you the opportunity to touch, kiss and play with a member of this friendly family of marine mammals. During the 25-minute encounter portion, you'll have excellent photo opportunities in addition to professional photographs that will be taken of you and your new friends.

Following the encounter, you will snorkel with a maximum of 12 participants for approximately 30 minutes with over a dozen resident dolphins within the enclosure. The snorkel session will provide maximum opportunities for physical contact with the dolphins. Participants must be 13 years of age and pregnant women are not allowed. Cameras are not allowed in the water during the snorkel session.

Glass Bottom Boat
The "Original" Glass Bottom Boat tour on Roatan has been taking guests through the reefs of West Bay Beach for over 12 years. It is not really a glass bottom boat but more like a "semi-submarine" where you will sit 6 feet BELOW the surface with windows on either side of you. Imagine looking through a life size aquarium! Enjoy touring over one mile of reef in air-conditioned comfort. Perfect for non-divers and people of all ages; great family fun!

Snuba at Gumbalimba Park
Snuba® was created for those who enjoy the simplicity of snorkeling and would like to experience the wonders of breathing underwater. Snuba? is an unique, patented shallow water diving system, bridging the gap between snorkeling and scuba diving.

Gumbalimba Park
Gumbalimba Park is a one-day destination dream. Enjoy an animal preserve with jump-on-your-shoulders monkeys, free-flying exotic birds, friendly turkeys, lizards, iguanas and other exotic animals. Walk through botanical gardens with over 200 colourful plant and tree species, numerous waterfalls and fountains, with a picturesque hanging bridge over the pond. Explore "Coxen's Cave" history tour and pirate's cave, with artwork and history painted on the cave walls, life-size pirates, treasure, weapons and maps.

South Shore Canopy
Picture yourself on a thrilling Roatan Zipline flying over tree tops and soaring through the tropical vegetation high above the forest floor! Their eco-friendly design offers a perfect mix of adventure and peaceful tranquility as you are suspended by cables creating a "superman" like effect similar to flying through the air with a bird's eye view of the earth below. One of Roatan's most popular activities, this canopy tour is composed of 16 platforms and 13 steel suspension cables strung at various heights between the trees.
