Cayo Paraiso VIP

Journey on a speedboat through the turquoise waters of the Dominican Republic to visit Isla Paraiso, a tiny desert island off the coast of Puerto Plata. Relax on the island’s pristine white-sand beaches and swim in the tranquil waters as you soak up the warm Caribbean sun. Snorkel through the coral reefs before taking a speedboat ride through the mangroves of the Dominican coastline and finish off the excursion with a delicious lunch at a seaside restaurant.

Next, enjoy some free time to explore Ocean World Adventure Park and take in its incredible attractions. Stroll through a forest preservation to observe iguanas and tropical birds in a nature sanctuary. Hop in the waters of a natural aquarium to snorkel and observe several species of exotic fish. Then, watch as the dolphins, sea lions and sharks perform tricks with their trainers.

TOP 5 - Buggy Double Puerto Plata (min age 7)

Hop into a dune buggy for a scenic drive through the jungle and sugarcane fields of the Dominican Republic. As you venture through the Puerto Plata countryside, you’ll be able to admire the island’s lush landscapes and pass by quaint local communities. Stop in the village of Munoz to learn about the Dominican Republic’s French and Creole communities. Then, continue towards the historic town of Montellano to drive through its sugar fields and plantations. Afterwards, visit Bergantin Beach to swim in the crystal-clear waters, before finishing off the journey at a restaurant nestled at the base of Isabel de Torres Mountain to sample authentic Creole coffee.

Learn all about the Dominican Republic’s vibrant culture on this journey through Puerto Plata’s beautiful countryside. Travel through the seaside community of Maimón on your way to Altamira, the birthplace of famous Major League Baseball player Bartolo Colón. Tour the Bartolo Colón Stadium and the on-site museum showcasing this history of Dominican baseball. Then, head to Las Lajas, a quaint town where you’ll learn how artisanal creole chocolate is made at an organic cocoa plantation and factory and sample some of their handmade chocolate and cacao wine before a tasty lunch. Then, visit the lively community of La Piragua where you’ll tour a factory that makes traditional molasses bread before unwinding on the banks of a beautiful river. Finally, head to the countryside home of Doña Catalina who she crafts traditional brooms by hand before ending the tour at a hidden beach.
