For water play, the largest freeform pool in Central America and one and a half miles of brilliant sandy beach provide hours of fun in the sun. Organized fun at the pool and non-motorized water sports at the beach including snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, water polo, water basketball and water volleyball are available, and dive and fishing excursions can be arranged. On dry land, guests can choose from an amazing array of activities such as four lighted tennis courts, an on-site canopy tour, a rock climbing wall and laser skeet shooting. Mini-excursions and tours are included allowing guests an opportunity to experience the warm hospitality and natural beauty of Costa Rica.

Paradisus Playa Conchal offers an amazing array of classes focusing on dance, fitness, cooking, culture and language. An example of some offerings:

Fitness Classes - Classes include aerobics, pilates, Taichi stretch, Tae Bo, step, abs class, kick boxing, Tae Kwan Do, catamaran, windsurfing and Yoga stretch.
• Language Classes - Spanish classes are offered daily at 3:00pm.
• Cooking Classes - Offerings include cocktail demos, sushi class and cooking class.
• Culture - Learn the true meaning of Pura Vida in classes covering the culture and geography of the paradise known as Costa Rica.
• Art Classes - Learn the art of oragami and towel decor.
• Dance - Weekly lessons are offered in the fine art of Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Mambo, Merenque, Cha cha cha and Latin mix.

Scheduled Excursions
Included in your package are kayak & snorkeling tours daily at 9:00am. At sunset, choose from a kayak tour or a sunset boat ride. For a small additional fee, diving and snorkeling trips and sailing adventures are easily arranged.

Optional Eco-tours and excursions add more fun and adventure to your Costa Rica vacation experience.
National Parks, wildlife refuges, rainforests, hot springs, and active volcanoes are all close by and arrangements can be made at the tour desk.

Golf Nearby
Reserva Conchal Golf Club is located adjacent to the Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort, but is not operated by or affiliated with the hotel. Hotel guests do enjoy discounted greens fees when advance reservations are made. Reservations must be made through the pro shop at the Reserva Conchal Golf Club.

The Reserva Conchal Golf Club course is a truly memorable golfing experience, designed in the classic tradition of the game by Robert Trent Jones II. Each nine meanders through the rolling terrain with breathtaking ocean views. This is eco-golf, with the course designed in harmony with the native Costa Rican landscape and blending beautifully with the best properties around the Tamarindo area.

The course is a true championship test for those in pursuit of the ultimate challenge. However, it was designed primarily for the resort player. Spacious fairways and multiple teeing options allow players of all levels to enjoy the course. Guanacaste's seasonal breezes will dictate your club selection and provide you with a different challenge every time you play.

In addition to great golf with an ocean view, the Club has also created the ultimate learning environment for those interested in improving their game. The Reserva Conchal Learning Center offers players the opportunity for improvement regardless of playing level or ability. PGA-Certified instructors host private and group playing lessons by appointment. PGA Master Professional Philip Krick, Jr. is Reserva Conchal Golf Club's Director.

Golf Shop: - Full service Golf Shop offering a wide selection of apparel and golf accessories. There is a limited golf club equipment selection. Open from 6:30am to 5:00pm.

Golf Instruction: - The Golf Learning Center offers individual and group instruction for all levels of play regardless of experience and/or ability. Reservations may be made to have the class in either English or Spanish. The practice facilities are available from 6:30am to 3:00pm unless otherwise posted. The practice only fee is US$15.00 per person and includes unlimited balls.
Golf Carts: - Golf carts are not mandatory. You must have a valid Driver's License to operate golf carts. Non-players will be subject to a golf cart rider fee of US$10.00 for 9 holes or US$20.00 for 18 holes.
Dress Code: - Appropriate golf attire is required. This includes no jeans, no metal spikes, collared shirts and socks.
Equipment Rental: - Quality rental equipment is available. Reserva Conchal features Taylormade golf clubs and Footjoy golf shoes.
Credit Cards: - Reserva Conchal accepts American Express, Visa and Mastercard (cash not accepted).

*Tee Time Reservation & Cancellation Policy:
Reservations should be made at least 48 hours in advance. Contact the Reserva Conchal Golf Course pro shop directly to set up your reservations. Reservations that are made at least 48 hours in advance will not be subject to charges. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to 50% of the reserved fees. No shows will be charged for all reservation fees.

*Please check-in at the Golf Shop at least 20 minutes prior to your Tee Time.
