Half Moon offers an unparalleled range of activities for even the most discriminating traveler. Whether it's horseback riding through the waves, a round of championship golf, tennis with a USTA-certified pro, swimming with the dolphins, or a romantic dinner for two, the possibilities are endless at Half Moon. The resort also offers a full-service spa and fitness center, squash courts, a tour desk and a shopping village and arcade featuring close to 40 specialty shops and boutiques.

Water Sports
Snorkel, sail, dive, wind surf, water ski, kayak and cruise the Caribbean. The choice is yours at Half Moon. Their aquatic experts, Captains Watersports and Dive Center, provide everything from equipment to certified instructors, as well as offering nearby dive sites that teem with a variety of fish, coral and caverns. 52 swimming pools, including two large public pools (Hibiscus and Oleander) and an Olympic-size lap pool and swim-up pool bar offer a refreshing respite.

Named for the sunrise and sunset, and dotted with palm trees, Half Moon’s two crescent-shaped beaches are just right for long walks, cool dips and lazy afternoons. To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, no motorized water sports are allowed in Half Moon bay. Lifeguards are only on duty during certain hours of the day, and red flag warnings must always be observed. Dolphin Lagoon
Exclusive Dolphin Lagoon, offering a variety of dolphin encounters. An unforgettable experience, the natural Dolphin Lagoon lets you meet, swim and even kiss the dolphins. Half Moon is offers several incredible dolphin encounter experiences on-site.

The large ocean lagoon allows guests to come face-to-face with these fascinating mammals. Trained handlers provide a detailed orientation and education session, introducing participants to the world of the dolphins. Next is the truly exciting experience; guests don life jackets and enter the sea for an adventure with these dorsal friends. Guests are amazed at how close they can get with the resident dolphins and how friendly, intelligent and charming they can be. Open since April 2003, the Half Moon Dolphin Lagoon is one of the most popular activities available, and reservations should be made prior to or upon arrival at Half Moon.

Tennis & Squash
Superbly manicured, the 13 tennis courts, all lit for nighttime play, are a dream to play on, no matter what level. The experienced and certified tennis professionals offer clinics, private lessons and summer camps for all levels and ages. Four international squash courts and squash equipment are also available for guests at Half Moon. Lessons can be scheduled with any of the qualified Tennis Pros.

Equestrian Center
With 28 carefully selected and groomed mounts, experienced trail masters, a Polo Arena and Jumping Arena, Rocky Point Stables at Half Moon offers one of the finest equestrian experiences in the Caribbean. Equestrians of all levels are welcome to enjoy a variety of activities, lessons and beach rides. Please plan on wearing long pants and walking shoes or sneakers. Riding helmets, available at the Equestrian Center, are also recommended.

• Beach Rides - Equestrians of all levels will enjoy riding along the beach and cooling off in the sea with this ride.
• Pony Rides - Pony rides around the stable year are available for children under 6 years. Approximately 10 minutes. Departing at 10:30am and 3:30pm
• Jungle Jaunt - Never ridden before or not in a long time, this is the ride for you. Start with a lesson in the Arena, then a short trek through the property. Riders must be over 6 years and under 230 lbs. Approximately 45 minutes. Departing at 10:00am, 11:00am and 3:00pm
• Sand Shuttle - A short ride to the beautiful bay at Half Moon, along the beach glimpsing the Dolphins, then swim together in the cool ocean. Rider must be over 8 years and under 230 lbs. and must wear swimsuits under their riding clothes. Approximately 1.5 hours. Departing at 7:00am and 4:00pm.

Mountain Biking
Cycle the exciting Mount Zion trail, through scenic country side, hills and valleys of the old Rose Hall Estate, catching spectacular views of the coastline. Riders must be over 12 years old. Approximately 1.5 hours from the Stables. Departing at 9:30am

Golf Course
A member of the Jack Nicklaus "Great Golf Resorts of the World," Half Moon's course has been welcoming golfers of all levels for over a quarter of a century. Great undulating greens, demanding holes and challenging drives and breathtaking vistas, they are all part of the newly renovated, award-winning, par 72 championship course originally designed by renowned course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

Named the Best Caribbean Golf Resort by Caribbean World Magazine, the Half Moon Golf Course boasts improved features for both the avid and casual golfer. Renovated by Roger Rulewich, renowned golf course architect, the course features realigned, multiple tee complexes as well as repositioned fairway and greenside bunkers. In completing the renovation project, Rulewich was mindful to maintain the course's integrity by respecting the natural flow of the land while modernizing the course to account for improvements made to golf equipment over the years.

Rose Hall Golf Association
The resort area of Rose Hall, on the sensational northern coast of Jamaica, has long been an open secret among golfers. Now, three of Rose Hall's most celebrated resorts have joined forces to create the Rose Hall Golf Association. The golf courses and their resorts are the White Witch at the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall Golf & Spa Resort, the Cinnamon Hill Oceanfront Course at the Rose Hall Resort & Country Club and the Half Moon Golf Course at Half Moon. Now guests can enjoy three distinct golf experiences of 54 holes in one vacation. Half Moon has joined forces with the White Witch and the Cinnamon Hill Ocean Course to offer guests special rates and privileges at these courses.
