EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE

Situated on the southwest coast of Anguilla and overlooking the mountains of St. Maarten only six miles away, the casually elegant Cap Juluca occupies 179 acres of land and inland waters. The resort offers the privacy and exclusivity that its many miles of beach allow, attracting sophisticated travelers and celebrities from around the globe. While situated only 15 minutes by boat from the myriad of shops, restaurants and nightlife of Dutch and French St. Maarten, Cap Juluca remains the essence of tranquility and service for the discerning traveler. Guests are accommodated in eighteen separate iconic Greco-Moorish design-inspired beachfront villas, each housing no more than 6 rooms and all are decorated with the highest quality fixtures and furnishings. All rooms have ocean views. There is a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool and a choice of two magnificent white sand beaches.

$22 Million Renovation
Cap Juluca recently-completed a fabulous $22 million renovation to create the new "Juluca" experience. The stunning resort has reopened to guests.
Enhancements Include:

  • The Main House - Particular attention was devoted to creating a heart for Cap Juluca at its Main House, which now features two new boutiques in Cap J Boutique and Zemi, two new libraries with 2000 books and 1000 DVD's, a new enclosed Guest Reception and Concierge lobby, and the elegant new Maundays Club lounge. But most stunning is the area "Under the Dome," the exquisitely furnished and expanded stone deck gathering area with nightly live entertainment. Not to be missed Under the Dome is the new Moroccan chandelier, purchased piece by piece in the souks of Marrakech and custom designed by Paul Duesing personally.
  • Pimms, Spice & Blue - Dining at Cap Juluca is a thrill again, in part because of a new décor in the three restaurants and related bars. But most of the credit goes to Certified Master Chef René Bajeux and his culinary team. He is one of only 50 French Master Chefs in North America. Previously the Executive Chef of the Four Seasons Beverly Hills and Four Seasons Maui, René's New Orleans restaurant was one of only 14 five star, five diamond restaurants in the entire United States. Appearing at New York’s James Beard House is an honor of which few chefs even dare dream - René has appeared at the James Beard House no less than eight times and is scheduled to return again in 2009.
  • The Guest Villas & Amenities - The guestrooms all now feature comfortable new Stearns and Foster beds and Frette linens, new 40" Sony Bravia high definition LCD televisions and Sony DVD players, a new Bose Wave stereo with iPod docking station, free wireless internet as well as enhanced patio furniture, new towels and new robes.
  • 60,000 new flowering plants and new irrigation system
  • New night lighting for pathways, roadways and landscaping
  • 37 new solar carts for guest use on property
  • All new custom made beach chaise lounges, umbrellas, tables, three spa cabanas, three new service centers for a total of five, $80,000 beach grooming machine.
  • And the list of amenities and enhancements goes on and on!
