Services and Facilities at The Verandah Resort & Spa, St. John's, Antigua

The Verandah Resort & Spa is a full-service beachfront eco-friendly resort catering to guests of all ages with a wide variety of activities and facilities. In addition to two white-sand beaches and a stunning, oversized freeform pool (plus the Rasta Beach Pool and Sundeck), Verandah offers lavish ocean view junior suite villa accommodations with private verandahs and a state-of-the-art spa. The Verandah offers non-motorized water sports, tennis, a mini-ciniema, electronic casino games and a spacious, well-equipped fitness center. Three restaurants invite guests to savor familiar and new cuisines, while four bars and lounges keep visitors refreshed both day and night.

The on-site conference room can accommodate about 80 people. There are two 24-hour tennis courts where professional training is offered on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays for free. The 24-hour fitness gym offers five treadmills and the spa consists of four treatment rooms, including one for couples.

Idyllic Location
Guests can also enjoy a short walk to the nearby historic Devil's Bridge attraction for excellent photo opportunities. The uninhabited island sanctuaries of Green Island and Bird Island also are accessible by a short boat ride. Sightseeing, dining and shopping in historic St. John's are only 30 minutes from the resort by car, as is Antigua's international airport.

Internet Access
Guests traveling with their personal laptops will now have complimentary wireless access property wide as part of the daily resort fee. This coverage includes, but not limited to, guest services area, main lobby and around the main swimming pool, adult only (Oasis) pool and main bar, in addition to in room access.

New Cell Phone Policy
Elite Island Resorts has banned the use of mobile phones on their beaches in an attempt to maintain their tranquil setting. The 'no mobile' policy will be restricted to one beach - or section of the beach - and has been implemented so guests can enjoy a break from the techno world, even if it’s just for the few hours they're on the beach.
