Dreams Cartagena has 268-stunning ocean view rooms and suites. Dreams Kariba Cartagena Colombia, starting November 1st, 2023, will offer 3 daily shuttle services to the historical city center of Cartagena. The present city—named after Cartagena, Spain — and by extension, the historic city of Carthage was founded in 1533, but settlement by various indigenous people in the area around Cartagena dates back to 4000 BC. In 1984, the colonial walled city and fortress were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Historical Center “Ciudad Amurallada” offers a variety of museums like the Cartagena Gold Museum and many restaurants with amazing views of the colonial architecture with Andalusian style roots. Many houses in Cartagena have balconies with tropical flowers.
