Booking Your Trip to the Maldives
To get to the Maldives, you will need to fly into Malé-Velana International Airport (MLE). From Malé you will take a 45-minute seaplane flight Maagau Island. Vacation Express does not sell the transportation (including seaplane) from Malé to Maagau Island. You will need to book this directly with the hotel.

After booking your trip, you must send your hotel and flight information of the international flights to and from Malé to [email protected] (required at least 72 hours in advance). Seaplane flights only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, your inbound flight must arrive in the Maldives between 6AM and 3:30PM local time, and your outbound flight from the Maldives must depart after 8:50AM. If your international flight arrives after 3:30PM, you may be required to find your own accommodation in Malé (at your own expense).

Please note the following luggage restrictions: travelers are permitted one 25kg (approx. 55lbs) suitcase and one 5kg (approx. 11lbs) hand luggage. No trolleys will be allowed as hand luggage. Trans Maldivian Airways will levy a surcharge for excess luggage. The extra baggage allowance can be paid directly at the resort.

The VIP Lounge at Noovilu Seaplane Terminal is included for all guests, offering Wi-Fi, refreshments, Italian espresso/coffee and showers with towels and amenities.
