Renovated in 2020
The resort reopened in November 2020 after a comprehensive renovation featuring the “ORIGIN” concept, which is inspired by nature as well as the roots and origins of the magic of Mayan culture. The main lobby, the swimming pool, wet bar and sundeck, as well as the theater, were all completely renovated. The villas and rooms now offer the ultimate expression of modernity and functionality, breathing fresh air through textures and materials that take us back to the origin of civilization. The brand-new and expansive Kids Zone named Zama, which was the original name of Tulum’s walled city, features numerous activity areas where children can learn about the Mayan culture through play, archaeology, and exploration.
