Named after the famed singer Edith Piaf, this restaurant serves extravagant French cuisine with a side of live music in an elegant 1940s Parisian atmosphere. Located in the Grand Class section, and open from 6pm – 11pm to guests. Dress code is causal resort elegance; no flip flops, T-shirts or shorts and reservations are required. Age restriction: 16 and older.
Cocina de Autor Signature Restaurant
Offers a world-class menu created by internationally acclaimed chefs Oteiza, Alonso and Xavier. Serving Molecular cuisine that blends Spanish and Mexican culinary experiences, this restaurant has been recognized by Food and Wine Magazine as one of the “100 Best New Food and Drink Experiences in the World.” Open daily from 6pm – 11pm. Dress code is resort elegance; no flip-flops, shorts or T-shirts and reservations are required. Age restriction: 16 and older.
Bistro
A French-style restaurant with a prime oceanfront location, Bistro is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a menu featuring soups, salads, sandwiches on fresh-baked French bread, decadent quiches, flakey croissants, and Riviera Maya specialties like Mayan ceviche and seafood Yucatan pozole. Open from 7am – 11pm, located in the Grand Class Section. Dress code is casual resort elegance; no flip-flops, shorts or T-shirts and reservations are required. Age restriction: 16 and older.
Sen Lin
An incredible culinary adventure spanning northeast and southwest Asia, including fare from China, Japan, Cambodia and more! Open from 6pm – 11pm, located in the Grand Class Section. Dress code is casual resort elegance; no flip-flops, shorts or T-shirts and reservations are required.
Frida
Fine Mexican cuisine served on an outdoor terrace with breathtaking views of the ocean. Open from 6am – 11pm, located in the Ambassador Section. Dress code is casual resort elegance; no slip-flops, T-shirts or shorts and reservations are required.
Lucca
Delicious Italian-Mediterranean fare perfect for having a relaxed family dinner. Open from 6pm – 11pm and located in the Zen Grand Section. Dress code is casual resort elegance; no flip-flops, shorts or T-shirts and reservations are required.
Azul
Family-friendly restaurant serving an international buffet with both outdoor and air-conditioned indoor seating. With everything from hamburgers to tempura, even the pickiest eaters will be pleased! Open from 7am – 11pm and located in the Ambassador section. All day casual dining.
Chaká
Nestled among the mangroves of the Riviera Maya Jungle, this open-air restaurant serves up a menu that reflects the unbelievable greenery you’ll see around you. Located in the Zen Grand Section. All day casual dining.
Yucatecan Cooking Class Now Available!
Grand Velas Riviera Maya now offers foodies an experience inspired by recipes of the region. Guest can join the resort’s Mayan Chef Humberto May Tamay in exploring the Mexican flavors of traditional Yucatecan cuisine during an intimate cooking class. Traditional techniques are showcased during the class which results in a three-course meal of recipes that have been passed from generation to generation and kept as the jewels of the Yucatan peninsula’s cuisine. Sample dishes included Mexican “antojitos” like empanadas and gorditas; tikinxic (pronounced "teekeen sheek”). Each guest will receive a copy of the recipes and a Grand Velas apron to take home.
Available for 10 - 16 people per session. Class takes place at the resort’s Yucatán restaurant. There is a cost associated to take the class.
BARS
Sky Bar - Rooftop bar located in the Grand Class Section. Open from 6pm – 11pm.
Aqua Bar - Swim-up bar located in the main swimming pools of each section. Open from 9am – 6pm.
Sen Lin Bar - Restaurant bar located in the Zen Grand section. Open from 6pm – 11pm.
Karaoke Bar - “Nightlife” bar located in the Ambassador section. Open from 7pm – 2am.
Piano Bar - Music bar located in the Ambassador section. Open from 5pm – 12 am.
Koi Bar - Sports bar located in the Zen Grand section. Open from 6pm – 3 am.

If you prefer to enjoy a delicious meal in the comfort and privacy of your luxury suite, the resort's 24-hour dining service is available as part of your Grand All-Inclusive experience. The in-suite menu includes a diverse selection of snacks, meals and desserts.
Minibar
The convenient in-suite mini-bar includes beer, soft drinks, bottled water and snacks such as peanuts, potato chips and granola bars. The minibar is part of the Grand Velas All-Inclusive experience and is restocked once a day at no extra charge.
Please Note: Grand Class restaurants (Bistro, Piaf & Cocina de Autor) have a minimum age limit of 16 years to dine. Ambassador and Zen Grand are great options for families.
