Music Fest St. Kitts is the home of an annual music festival, one of the largest in the Caribbean with top jazz, R&B, reggae, and even gospel singers for the four-day event.The outdoor festival - usually held each June, attracts people from all over the islands who come to enjoy the music. Stars like David Rudder, Chaka Khan, Earl Klugh, and Culture have been at previous festivals. Carnival St. Kitts is a beautiful, agricultural island, which gives the impression that it's peaceful and calm. However, people here like to party, and they really strut their stuff each year during the annual Carnival, held each year over the Christmas holidays.This traditional Caribbean festivity, marked by dancing in the streets, masquerade dancers, and parades in which everybody gets dressed up for the occasion, is a true look at island culture. Days become nights, and nights blend into the days, and no one knows the difference. Golf Available The long awaited renovation of Royal St. Kitts Golf Club is complete! The course originally opened in 1976 and recently completed a much anticipated renovation. Famed Canadian architect Thomas McBroom has skillfully remodeled Royal St. Kitts Golf Club to provide breathtaking views of the natural terrain. The course is one of the best conditioned and most scenic courses in the Caribbean. This links-style golf course has five par 3's with three full holes on the Atlantic Ocean and two full holes on the Caribbean Sea. The par 71 layout is spread over 125 acres of irrigated lush Seashore Paspalum, an advanced hybrid turf grass specifically designed to tolerate the salty ocean spray. Displaying a moderate number of sand bunkers, 12 beautiful lakes, wide fairways and large putting greens, it is a fair yet challenging test of golf. Four sets of tee complexes allow golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the challenge posed by this magnificent layout.The course plays as an 18-hole, Par 71 course at 6,900 yards from the back tees.
