Perfect for travelers who want to experience a typical Costa Rican lodge environment with a variety of eco-adventure activities, followed by 4 nights of relaxation on Guanacaste's stunning Pacific coast. All meals are included at the Hacienda Guachipelin Hotel and most hotels in the Guanacaste region offer a convenient all-inclusive plan.

The Guanacaste region has a wide variety of national parks and reserves with plenty of sightseeing and historical tours available. It is also the ideal place for those who want to enjoy water sports such as surfing, windsurfing or snorkeling. The area offers some of the best deep-sea diving and deep-sea fishing in the world. Explore amazing savannas, enjoy incredible bird watching, horseback ride into the forest or just relax on the unspoiled multi-hued sand beaches.

Day #1
Arrival at Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia where you will be greeted by a uniformed Hotelbeds representative who will accompany you to the Hacienda Guachipelin Hotel (transfer time is approx. 1 hour). Afternoon and evening at leisure to enjoy the lodge.

Day #2
Enjoy the National Park Tour & Rio Negro Hot Springs. Hike the trails around the National Park and observe steam vents, boiling mud and water and very diverse vegetation. Once at the hot springs (embedded in the tropical dry forest) take a natural sauna for about fifteen minutes; then apply the volcanic mud on your skin, let it dry and shower it off; then relax in the thermal water pools; complete the treatment with a cold shower. You’ll feel reborn!

Day #3
This morning enjoy the Río Negro Tubing Adventure Tour (children under 10 not permitted). After a 45 min. horseback ride through the forest and a short security/instruction briefing, take a short walk to the foot of the Victoria waterfall, where the 2 hr. tubing adventure begins. Return to the Hacienda via horseback for lunch. This afternoon enjoy the Canyon Canopy Tour, just a short walk from the hotel’s “Adventure Centre”. The canopy is the only one in the country that takes you into a canyon and over a turbulent river. You’ll enjoy 12 cable “rides”, 24 platforms, 2 climbing walls, a hanging bridge, a canyon rappel, swing seats and plenty of thrills, all set in a majestic canyon. Observe a variety of vegetation, birds, mammals, reptiles and more.

Day #4
Morning at leisure. Hacienda Guachipelin Hotel Natural offers hot springs, virgin forests, jungle waterfalls and volcanic mud pots. Following lunch at the hotel a private transfer will take you to your selected beach hotel.

Days #5-7
Relax at the beach for the rest of your week! Add a day trip to Nicaragua for shopping and sightseeing, take a fishing excursion, learn to surf - enjoy!

Your exciting week of adventure and beach relaxation has come to an end. You will be transferred from your hotel to the Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR) in Liberia for your return flight home. Pura Vida!
