The resort offers a comprehensive array of water sports including kayaks, windsurfing, aqua cycles, hobie cat sailing, snorkeling and scuba diving for certified divers.To compliment its sublime ocean views, the property features four pools including a brand new freshwater pool. Encompassing over half an acre, this spectacular pool entices guests with a Jacuzzi, swim-up pool bar, and unique fire pit seating area in the center. Guests have complimentary use of the non-motorized water sports equipment or may simply choose to laze on the powdery soft sand beach of Emerald Bay or by any of the resort's pools. Bone-fishing, snorkeling and island sightseeing excursions are offered on a regular basis.

Tennis Pavilion
Managed by world-renowned Peter Burwash International (PBI), the Resort's tennis facilities offer six Hydro Har-Tru courts, all lit for night play. Har-Tru is a preferred clay-like surface that provides an exceptional playing experience. Equipment is available at the pro shop, where lessons can also be arranged with the PBI tennis professional. PBI offers a complete range of instructional programs, including private and semi-private lessons, weekly clinics, vigorous drill sessions and more.

Extraordinary Diving Included
Dive into the Caribbean as you explore ancient wrecks beneath the turquoise sea and discover schools of fluorescent fish darting through coral canyons. Sandals includes unlimited diving and the Caribbean's most comprehensive resort scuba diving program so guests can experience the amazing underwater world. Don't forget your Diver Certification card. Top-of-the-line equipment for scuba diving is included; however, you're welcome to bring your own. You must remember your diver certification card to enjoy full diving privileges. A resort dive certification course is available for a nominal fee.

Golf on-site
Sandals Emerald Bay, Great Exuma features a Greg Norman-designed 7,200 yd., par 72 championship golf course that rivals any oceanside course in the world. Norman, a native Autralian and avid diver and boater himself, immediately saw the potential of the site and created not one, but six signature holes hugging the perimeter of Emerald Bay's scenic peninsula, some with over-water challenges! The Golf Lounge has a weekly Meet & Greet Soiree on Fridays.

Nightly Entertainment
Guests at Sandals Emerald Bay are treated to an array of entertainment, including cooking classes by celebrity chefs, dance lessons, introductory golf and tennis lessons, live music, jazz performances, bonfires, dueling pianists and Appleton Reserve rum tasting classes. Guests looking for a slower pace can also browse the Resort’s classic library, boasting historical information on The Bahamas and Great Exuma. Guests enjoy a variety of top-notch options in the evening including an ampitheater with live shows, a piano bar, talent night, Caribbean Night, live bands, karaoke and Dance Explosion. Each Monday night, after the Manager's Cocktail Party, the resort comes alive with a Junkanoo Rush Street Party geared around the Bahamian culture (marching band, local cuisine, etc.) with local artisans selling their wares.
