Please Note: Sunscape Sabor Cozumel Resort and Spa will remodel 48 guest rooms: 24 Deluxe Tropical View, 12 Deluxe Ocean Front, and 12 Deluxe Ocean View rooms. The resort has put measures in place to reduce noise as well as preserve the view. In order to ensure the best possible guest experience, all guests in affected rooms will be upgraded.

It is the most complete beachfront resort complex in Cozumel with the majority of the room categories offer ocean front views. Considering it is the largest beach front resort in Cozumel, most of the delicious restaurants are ocean front. In addition, it has access to the largest and most complete Spa by Pevonia on the island of Cozumel and is located very close to the main reefs for those who wish to see the beautiful scenery on the island. Also, for little ones, there is a fully supervised Explorer's Club for kids ages, 3-12 years old, with extended hours.

Sunscape Sabor Cozumel Resort and Spa all-inclusive is accessible throughout most of the facilities. There are ramps at the main lobby with easy access to any building, restaurant, bar, theater or pool in the hotel. Currently the hotel is not accessible at the Spa by Pevonia, commercial center, gym or guestrooms on the second or third level.

The Romantic Dining experience is valid on all new bookings at select Sunscape Resorts & Spas made now through December 22, 2021 for travel from now through December 22, 2021. Hotel Updates

Enhancements to Guest Rooms

AMR™ Collection is pleased to share that Sunscape® Sabor Cozumel will complete enhancements to 90 suites on property, as well as constructing 63 additional suites. Preparation and minor work is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 16, 2021 with the enhancement project officially commencing Monday, August 30, 2021. Throughout the enhancement project, noise may be able to be heard in the first week, and the area will be covered with a wall to reduce noise and not affect the view. These enhancements have an estimated completion date of December 15, 2021.
Through the duration of the enhancement project, multiple offerings on property will be unavailable, and the following accommodations will be made:
*Portofino and Da Mario restaurants will be closed until further notice. A new food truck will be available at the Sunscape Sabor Cozumel Resort and Spa main pool For adults 18 years of age or older.
*Market Café will be available at the adjacent Secrets® Aura Cozumel. The relaxing pool and scuba diving pool Guests may enjoy the activities pool as an alternate location through this time.
*The Explorer's Club for Kids will move temporarily to the Core Zone for Teens area.

Please Note: Ferry operation from Playa del Carmen to the Island of Cozumel operates every hour starting at 6 am to 9 pm. Ferry service from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen operates every hour starting at 6 am to 8 pm.
