Among Viva Maya by Wyndham's many recreational facilities, in addition to the spectacular beach, are a large freshwater pool, spa tub, sun terrace and a health club with complimentary personal training. Tennis courts, a rock-climbing wall and walking track are other fitness choices. A daily activities program includes water aerobics and beach volleyball and an assortment of poolside games and contests. The staff can help arrange other offsite activities such as archaeological site tours, horseback riding and sport fishing charters (these excursions are available for an additional cost). At night, guests can head to the 600-seat theater to watch live entertainment and to dance at the resort's disco. The live show Viva Circus features acrobatic stunts, juggling and flying trapeze acts. Guests who wish to join in on the show's action can partake in interactive trapeze lessons or a juggling workshop.
