Activities and Recreations at Round Hill Hotel & Villas, Montego Bay

A beautiful golden sand beach and a double infinity edge pool overlooking the Caribbean make Round Hill a magnificent setting for your favorite resort sports. Snorkeling gear, tubing, waterskiing and glass-bottom boats, windsurfers, Hobie Cats, pedal boats and sea kayaks are at your disposal. Deep sea fishing and yacht charters can be arranged. Native sport fish include marlin, sail fish, wahoo, barracuda, mahi mahi and yellowfin tuna. The resort's head gardener meets with guests every Friday afternoon to guide them through the well-kept gardens. See the bulletin board in the lobby for more information on the Nature Garden & Walk.

Diving & Snorkeling
For those who like to dive and explore the reefs, Captain's Watersports offers guided dive trips with the resort's experienced Dive Master on their 200hp, 23 ft. dive boat. Only minutes from 5 different sites. Snorkeling tours can also be arranged or you can just explore the reefs beyond the beach. Take advantage of the crystal clear waters and the coral reefs for spectacular snorkeling. The water sports center arranges weekly sailing/snorkel trips on a catamaran, or you can hire the yacht for private sailing tours and sunset cruises.

Want to learn to SCUBA dive or advance your skills? Round Hill's English- and German-speaking PADI Master SCUBA Diver/Trainer will help you all the way. Whether individuals or small groups, you are guaranteed an easy and enjoyable way to learn to expand your SCUBA skills with an array of PADI courses. Children as young as 12 accepted.

Tennis
The use of Round Hill's all weather courts is complimentary to all guests. There are 5 courts in all, 2 of which are lighted for night play. Complimentary tennis racquets are also available. A tennis pro is available for lessons for children and adults. If you are interested in meeting other players, mixed doubles, or round robins, there is a sign-up sheet on the tennis notice board or you can contact guest relations to help you find a partner. Proper tennis attire (white preferred) including tennis shoes must be worn. Gentlemen must wear shirts.

Golf Available
Less than 10 minutes away is the famous Tryall golf course. Complimentary transportation is available to and from Tryall. Although tee times can be booked through the Front Desk, payment for greens fees must be made directly at Tryall. There are additional golf courses in Montego Bay - Ironshore, Half Moon, Rose Hall Resort's and Ritz Carlton's White Witch Course.
