Vacation Express Price Match Policy

We've created a smoother, more automated process for you to get your Price Matches processed.

Where to Send Your Price Match Request:

What Determines Eligibility for a Price Match?

  • Both your VE booking and competitor quote must be from the same day and submitted the same day your booking was made.
  • Competitor's quote must be the exact stay as your Vacation Express booking, including, but not limited to airline classes of services, hotel, arrival and departure dates, room type, number of guests and meal plan.
  • We must be able to verify your competitors price. Failure for us to do so may result in immediately denying the price match. Please keep in mind that even if we can verify the competitors price it must still go through a process and may still be denied.
  • Foreign companies cannot be price matched.

What to Include in Your Price Match Request:

  • Vacation Express booking must already include full names and dates of births for the travelers and either be ACTIVE or a QUOTATION. We cannot process OPTION bookings as no space is being held.
  • Screenshot of competitor's quote that includes time/date stamp, competitors URL and Airline classes of service if including airfare.

Upon receiving your price match request, an email confirmation alerting you that your request is being worked on will be sent.

Additional Price Match Policies:

  • Price matches are not guaranteed, but please understand that every effort will be made to price match our competitors. However, we reserve the right to deny the request if the hotel denies the discrepancy or pricing cannot be verified.
  • No additional coupons or discounts can be added to your price-matched reservation and Vacation Express coupon discounts will not apply to price-matched rates.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 8:00am-9:00pm ET
Saturday - Sunday 9:00am-7:00pm ET

Price matches received 30 minutes before department closes may not be processed the same day.

  • During hours of operation, every effort will be made to respond within 2 hours.
  • If a price match request is received Monday - Friday between 7am - 6pm ET, every effort will be made to respond within 2 hours.
  • Any requests sent after hours and on weekends may take up to 48 hours to process.
  • If it has been more than 48 hours or if you do not receive a confirmation email, please email pricematch@vacationexpress.com for further assistance.
